Good design can transform your landscape. When designing we listen to you and translate your desires, visions and needs into a landscape design that will delight you and thrive in your particular yard. Our landscape designs are developed in a three step process: Initial meeting, preliminary design and final design. Our full landscape designs include specifications on all the plants, paving, soil prep, rock work and other details required to describe the finished landscape.

INITIAL MEETING

We begin by meeting you at your home, where we interview you to determine what is pleasing to you aesthetically and what you need functionally.  The more you can give us about your desires and needs, the better we can fine tune the design for you. Photos, local addresses, magazine articles and lists of desires and needs are all helpful. When considering your desires we encourage you to consider what you would really like without worrying about the practicalities. As designer we can provide we can provide designs that may incorporate things you thought were impossible.

PRELIMINARY DESIGN

We use the information gathered from the initial meeting to create a conceptual design that will explore a wide variety of possibilities. At this point we aren't selecting particular plants, styles or materials but are considering the overall organization of the landscape. We present this sketch to you at the second meeting where we'll discuss the theme and content of the conceptual design. We'll usually leave this sketch with you for your consideration. Once the preliminary plan has been molded into a workable and pleasing form, we discuss plant and materials and move toward the final design.

FINAL DESIGN

The final design has all the necessary details and information to build your new landscape, turning your dreams into reality. Also included is a plant list printed on the plan as well as separate copies, complete with how many and what sizes to be ordered. These will be used as working drawings for the installers and for HOA approval, if needed. After your landscape is installed to your satisfaction we are happy to go for a walk through to discuss plant care and when each one gives it's best showing.

• we'll work with the installers, ours or yours, to facilitate good communication and assist during the plant layout phase.
